Hey guys, help me understand something.. the power output @ 32 ohms seems kinda low @ 130+130 (260mW total right)? If I want to drive my 80 ohm DT770s, would this DAP have enough power not to just drive them but drive them to their full potential? The balanced looks like it could but the 770 is a fixed 3.5mm output. Also, does this DAP let you set a high gain? I’m guessing I’d want high gain for anything that isn’t an iem here. Any help would be very appreciated!

The N5II drives the Fostex + Massdrop T-X0 really well.

I don't believe you'll have any problem, should be plenty of power with headroom to spare. 80 ohm is not a demanding load.

@PinkyPowers would you call the move from opus #1 to Cayin N5II an upgrade regarding sound? I am on the fence cause the balanced out of my opus died and the added benefits of a wheel and wifi are very tempting.

I still need to do my A/B comparisons. I usually save those for the review, but I may get out my test setup this weekend.
