Many Chinese DAPs don't support AAC, and the ones that don't are usually the ones I find most interesting, e.g., Shozy. I wonder if this is a licensing cost issue ...

Nice try, we can certainly do that in a parallel universe.![]()
Hi guys,
This is my first DAP after my 2006 iPod died. I am just wondering if anyone knows how do I create an external playlist on my computer and be able to use it on the N3?
I keep getting the file not found message. I tried changing the drive alphabet in the m3u playlist, I tried removing the tags and updating the library. I tried using media monkey to load the songs over, nothing seems to work.
I tried searching but I keep getting how to do it for the Fiio players, which require a change of the drive letter. Any help is appreciated~

I use MusicBee to manage my playlists, in settings for MusicBee enable "relative paths".
The lines in the Playlist have to have relative paths, rather than absolute paths that contain any sort of PC OS specific drive info.
For example, lets say the music on your PC is at - D:Music/Genre/Artist/Album/Track-1
Your Playlist could be anywhere, as long as the entry for Track-1 is that absolute path.
Once you copy your music to the N3, the N3's embedded Linux OS does not recognize the D: part of the path.
So, if you place your externally created Playlist in a Playlists folder, at the Genre level, the lines in the Playlist would now be: ../Genre/Artist/Album/Track-1
That ".." at the beginning of the line, points up one level (out of the Playlists folder), and then the rest of the line is the same as before.
Hope this helps.
Wow, 100 pages already, and we are still in second month of N3 only.
I don't like blur photo, so here we go.![]()
I have very little information about the forthcoming case right now. I don't think its real leather but I need to find out the material detail from our Product Manager. The leather case is closely resembled to the second generation i5 case and that's a pleather case. From what we experienced, pleather is less elastic and subject to less deformation after extensive use, and it can keep its 3D shape/formation better then genius leather, hence offer higher degree of flexibility during the design process.
The case will be priced at around US$20.![]()
The ZSTs are a fantastic match for the N3, so musical, much wow!
