Thanks man. I decided to turf the dap idea and bought a cheap Sony android for usb audio and tidal, connected to a dac/amp.

Derp! Wrong thread. Got confused. I'm actually thinking of getting an N5, which is like the C5 sound in DAP form. I obviously love the sound, though. That's why I'm considering the N5. C5 sound but better volume control for IEM.

Hi i received my c5dac. I noticed it has a coax out. So can i use this to connect to my fiio x3ii? The fiio has a coax too.

X3ii has Coax out, so no it won't accept Coax in from C5 DAC.

Coax out is to connect to your stereo.

Hi everyone, can anyone with the c5dac compare its sound to the Onkyo HA200, Meridian Explorer 2 and xDuoo XD 05? I have budgeted £200 for a decent amp/dac for portable use and these so far look pretty good options. Thanks a bunch in advance, Linh
