Liquid Spark. Would I be able to connect my yet to be received Echobox Explorer to it and use it aS a source?

As long as the Explorer has a Line Out function, and I don't see why it wouldn't, yes.

Looking at the specs of the Explorer, it has Toslink and headphone out. You can use the headphone out to feed the Spark, but you'll be double amplifying. I am not seeing a line-out for the Explorer.

It's probably a software option like on the AK players.

Maybe everyone knows this already and maybe Dr. Cavalli planned it this way, but... I just stumbled across this ( from here: https://what-if.xkcd.com/50/) while looking for data on the product

Liquid tungsten is really hard to work with.

Tungsten has the highest melting point of any element. This means there's a lot we don't know about its properties. The reason for this—and this may sound a little stupid—is that it's hard to study, because we can't find a container to hold it in. For almost any container, the material in the container will melt before the tungsten does. There are a few compounds, like tantalum hafnium carbide, with slightly higher melting points, but no one has been able to make a liquid tungsten container with them.

To give you an idea of how hot liquid tungsten is, I could tell you the exact temperature that it melts at (3422°C). But a better point might be this:

Liquid tungsten is so hot, if you dropped it into a lava flow, the lava would freeze the tungsten.

Needless to say, if you set a boat on a sea of liquid tungsten, both you and the boat would rapidly combust and be incinerated.

It's my knowledge that we would only be able to sell over seas if where you are located doesn't have a direct Cavalli dealer. Maybe Jason could help shed more light on this.

The pre-order discount is based on territory. If you're in a territory not covered by a distributor or dealer and choose to order from TSAV or MTME you can take advantage of the pre-order price of $500. To be sure, once the Spark is available online from Cavalli direct the new price will be in effect and the $500 price will end.

I guess the pre oreder ended. Does anyone know the official date for the sparks to be available in cavalli website?

Not less than 60 days is the best guess. It's ready as far as development. It's now going into pre-production - then production. This process is generally 60 - 90 days.

Pre-Orders are on hold. It may open up again depending on when the product will become available to ship. Alex Cavalli doesn't want people waiting long periods for pre-order or standard orders

Sounds exciting! I have been into cavalli since carbon I guess. As Alex Cavalli started to produce more affordable amps (and portable this time  ), I would love to get my hands on it.

I think you're going to see a lot from Cavalli in the next 12 months. Most of it will be very affordable products.
