I also like cloth though I'm not sure what filter I like the very best yet. T1 always feels pretty solid

I haven’t tried the cloth ear pads with a filter because they sounded great as-is. With the stock leather pads I was using the T-2 filters.

I think CA should include the cloth ear pads in addition to the stock pads (e.g. like the DT 1990 or Empyrean).

Thank you,

My XL Leathers arrived yesterday, along with replacement Filters (I lost my originals), a big thanks to Ken & Team for kindly adding replacements with my order. I love the comfort of the XLs, though I don’t have an opinion on sound yet.

Hi Ken,
I love the feel of the leather pads but the sound of the cloth pads do the larger pads get closer to the sound of cloth pads ?
Thanks

The larger leather pads are more akin to the sock leather pad sound wise, the cloth pads are going to be a flatter response.

No plans to make a large cloth pad, sorry.

Cheers,

Ken

Ken - what about new head band or any other solution to alleviate the hot spot many (me included) suffer from on top of our head?

Hey Zachik,

No planned changes on the headband, this is alleviated simply by bending (forming) the curvature of the headband. Inside the headband is a piece of spring steel that is easily re-bent to better suite your cranium. Please experiment.

Thank you,

Ken

Thanks Ken for the quick response.
I will experiment and thinking of adding padding...

Just got these a few days ago and I gotta say that these sound pronominal to me.
The headband is very easy to bend and took just a few minutes to have it fit my head. I tried using the same method I use for my ZMF headphones, I think there is a video on YouTube if you are nervous.
