I wear mine at the gym, the clamp is fine! I’ve had them over a year, so unless they changed the headband your good

You must get them really sweaty? I will try that clamp tomorrow.

You try like this? There is a YouTube video for ZMF headphones which is a good guide1610058955636.jpeg

I found this very helpful to get it comfortable

I was watching the video while squeezing feverishly.
VERY curious to see how it works tomorrow.

Yikes! I don't think I could ever do that to the headband of my Cascade...

I had a few comfort issues the first month or so, but since then either I've got used to it, or the headband has stretched enough I don't really notice it any more.

I need less pain and more clamp. It is a step in the right direction.

Different heads, different bands.. or something like that?

For me, the current band is quite comfy for extended use; I can listen to the Cascade for more than 2 hours without feeling any discomfort on my ears or on the top of my head. Whilst your method is a little unorthodox, we must do what we can to improve comfort.

The XL pads are definitely larger! Makes the cascade feel more like a full size headphone than a portable one if that makes any sense.
Can you provide any physical dimensions for the inner cups of the XL pads and the stock pads, by any chance?

Just picked up a pair of Cascades, taking advantage of the current offer to include an SXC-8 cable at the same price. I chose the 4.4mm option. I also ordered the XL leather pads.

I love them so far. The XL pads open up the stage quite a bit. The SXC-8 cable is way to tough for my preference, and I’ve found I much prefer the stock cable.

The only major issue I’m having is this damn hot spot that forms after about an hour directly in the center of the headband. It’s as if the headband is fit for a head exactly 1 inch taller than mine, so the entire weight of the headphones ends up supported on about a 2” wide section of the headband right in the center.

Can anyone recommend perhaps one of these headband cozies from Geekria etc? Not sure which one may fit, but if I found one, I could put a few Dekoni nuggets inside it perhaps and solve the issue.
