This doesn't work for me either, and I don't know why. Been trying everything I can think of, but when I try to upload a new file, the uploader shows itself "processing" but doesn't actually update my avatar.

Actually I see that my avatar updated at some point in the past ~24 hours. Apparently it wasn't an immediate change.

I also saw in the fine line that one has to post some before one can change the avatar. Understandable!
