After reading here for a while i noticed some very experienced IEM users and i hope you would make the right choise for me

After searching i narrowed it down to the Shure's SE425 and Sennheiser IE7
Im not a musician and this is my budget limit .. Im a soldier so durability has a role here ..

Unusual because they have fairly different sound signatures.

yeah those two are will be very, very different sounding, one isolates well the other doesnt. they are just basically about opposites in every way.
 
since you havent specified what it is you are looking for really id say GR07 as its a very good generalist.  if you have more specific requirements then you may want to elucidate a little so peeps can give you more tailored suggestions.

I had the 425's and the ie6's - which should be a bit worse than the 7's.  I would say the build of the Shure is excellent, however I found the 425's a little boring (mostly midrange, not a lot of bass impact).  If you like that Shure style, and want something a little more fun like the ie6's I had, the Shure 215's could be considered at a much lower pricepoint.
