The PWAudio Saladin is a great entry-level cable with a beautifully warm timbre and a rich, pleasing bass. The treble isn't the most extended, but the 8-wire version makes up for that admirably. More to come in my final write-up. :wink:

Is AAWxShozy POLA open-back? What about noise isolation and sounds leakage? I've heard it's price is below $1k, is this correct?

The POLA is semi-open AFAIK. Isolation is okay; not as bad as the Audeze iSine's. Kevin told me that the price is expected to be USD 600-800.

Well, the display called it an electrostatic-dynamic hybrid, with a transformer within the IEM for the electrostatic driver.

that is electret driver, it has continuous charge from the transformers, if it was electrostatic driver you will need energizer like the shure 1500 or various stax models

it was a matter of time for someone to create this type of hybrid, it exist with some old AKG s and the newer ones are from mitchell and johnson and Enigmacoustics in full size headphones form

That's what I thought as well - I thought they may have come up with a workaround or something. The IEM itself shows a lot of potential. In my opinion, it's immediately clearer, more coherent and more balanced than - say - the Unique Melody ME.1. But, energy from the mid-bass introduces a generous amount of body into the midrange without any veil or congestion. AAW also brought retuned versions of their A1D, A2H, A3H and W900 models, and they - along with the POLA - have a recurring house sound. It involves an emphasis on upper-treble extension and energy. As a result, all those models have the clarity and sparkle that have made Jomo's two flagships and 64Audio's Tia-equipped IEMs so successful. It's a refreshing sound that still carries weight and body due to the dynamic drivers within them, and the prices I was quoted signify them as truly promising entries into the crowded CIEM market. Impressions CanJam Singapore Day 2.

I was so pleased to see how many visitors the CanJam attracts, it is so good arranged by the al the people organization and stand holders. The vibe was so great I don’t think this is my last CanJam !!
