Just discovered that the CA cable is not possible for me as I am in the UK, and they do not post to the UK. Any suggestions would be really helpful
I have the AK300 and considering the DX200, and I believe they have the same balanced input

The jack is the same 2.5 mm trrs but ibasso in balanced mode has 6v output. I think is too much for lyra II

Both the Vega and the Lyra II play very well with extra power, so the DX200 input shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for the replies guys, yes I have always read the CA gear scales up very well with extra power.
I will try it with my Taurus home set up first to get an idea.

1. My apologies if this is a daft question. As stated above I am looking to get a balanced cable for my Lyra 2, but you know what this hobby is like, there is every chance I may move up to Dorado, Andromoda, Vega........do they all have the same termination?

Yes, all CA IEMs use MMXC connection.

OK I am not having a great deal of joy in looking for a balanced cable . I am in the UK and tempted by toxic cables but the wait time is 14 weeks. I may order from here but are there any cheap options here in the UK that can tide me over till then.
Any guidance appreciated

Thanks for the reply. I think a cable from toxic or Forza is going to cost me about £150, so I was really looking for a cheap item until then.....£60 a but too much. Filo have one at about £30 I think but I am unable to locate one

You already have a Litz, right? You can send it back to CA to have it re-terminated from SE to Balanced. I think there's a fee though.

I guess I could consider this but its the only cable I have for the Lyra2 so would mean I would be without them.
I have a new IBasso DX200 ordered and was hoping to get a balanced cable quite quickly......but one may have to wait

Just got my Vega. I love how small these are, the comfort for me over the Andromeda is night and day.

I much prefer the sound of these out of the lightning to 3.5mm dongle on my iPhone over my Mojo. Am I weird? Lol.
