I’m a huge psy trance fan myself. The slower bass decay and overall sound of Trifecta doesn’t work too well for the genre. It’ll sound a bit smeared.

Bummer but glad I can get some first hand feedback, if they made psy trance sound as unreal as the rest of the feedback in this thread that would be unreal.

I think for psy trance you’d need a faster DD low response and maybe BA for the rest. Supermoon works very well for it.

Good morning. Just woke up. 7am or thereabouts..

Copy and pasted from Head pie.

Japan shows are quite quiet so one can have a fairly good listen.

But show listens are always short, shallow and fly by night.

So just take these impressions as a ballpark idea. A very broad stroke of the brush - but it gives a bit of an idea…

This is quite exciting… I do love a CA marketing campaign, they do well with the multiverse events even if the actual product reveals can be a little underwhelming at times. Looking forward to these new releases!

That shapes teaser was the first thing I thought of. One of the new ones in this latest teaser is a blue triangle...which I thought was the already-released Trifecta. I guess we'll see on the 21st.

I think the circle and square will be/might be as i wrote. But we will see as you say

But i did a brain fart on the triangle thinking of the diamond…reminder to me not to post before my morning coffee…or maybe CA forgot their shapes…?? Dunno

I'm low key hoping for a next gen Andromeda. I really hope these are available for demo at CanJam next week.

By the way thanks for that post-- it was the only real info on that shapes teaser on all of Head Fi. I couldn't remember where I'd read about a "ba planar hybrid" from them but it must have been from you.

Just curious, what would you consider or be looking for in a next gen andromeda? A similar driver setup with updated tuning? Or potentially a new driver configuration (potentially hybrid of some sort) that aims for a similar tuning to the original?

Based on the one photo that was shared of a green shell, and campfires continuous updating of the andromeda, it seems almost certain that if they are announcing multiple models as hinted, then one will be an andromeda of some sort.
