I sold my Polaris 2 when I got my Andromeda Golds and always regretted it. The Satsuma might be an inexpensive replacement.

I think you mean the Honeydew...Satsuma's the BA model.

Still waiting for the Campfire Audio Eclipse to be announced tbh… the 8 driver successor to the Solaris? KB??…. Don’t leave us hanging

Is that an actual thing or a meme?

Man, I love me some campfire, but holy crap that graph of the honeydew looks very very very bassy. Still tempted especially since I have no campfire left in my collection

Definitely one of their most bass-focused models, for the bass-head through and through.

100%. This is just what I was after and at $250 it's hard to go wrong for a purely guilty pleasure IEM.

I enjoy how the team at Campfire don't always gun for mass appeal, they have no issue catering perfectly towards a niche.

Kinda sucks that this approach doesn't always hold up so well in a traditional review format since specificity inherently limits versatility. I think lots of people will enjoy Honeydew either way.

Honestly it can go both ways-- Solaris & Andromeda are two of the most versatile and universally likeable IEMs I've heard...Dorado & Atlas on the other hand...

But yeah I appreciate their willingness to do and try new things, even if it offends certain more purist sensibilities.

A decade ago this asking price would get us some fancy IEMs for sure, but now it falls into the guilty pleasure gap indeed :D
