Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova

Haven't noticed condensation on them yet, but I don't tend to mother my IEMs really. As for the gym, well it's personal really, but my wife died just over a year ago (she was only 37) and since then I have thrown myself into the gym and exercise as a are lease and escape. And I have found that music has really helped with that too - until last week I was rocking some Shure SE846s. And while these were great, today's first session.sith the Andromedas was on a whole new level of bliss.

If they break, they break, I will replace them. I need to do what's good for my spirit and soul - as I guess we all do in these beleagured times eh.

I really wish I could adopt this philosophy. Then my life would be much easier. I envy you for that.

For example: I would like to listen music after the gym but after the shower my ears are (/ can)not be 100% dry... And I HATE to have my andromeda in the case which is NOT practical when I want to use it.

I just received the IEMatch and I use the "high" option.

What should say about it... it is for me a MUST BUY if you use the Andromeda with the iPhone. It sounds with the Sonata Dongle and finally with the PC also MUCH better as without. Try it for believe!

Now, I just hate it that I doesn't have a portable solution because the iPhone doesn't have a usb-c port. Oh man!

Hi,
Can you please give me more thoughts on comparition between the Ex1000 and the Andromeda? Thank you

I have both and I like both just the same. I don’t find the ex1000 overly bright but it is more in your face. Andromeda is mire bslanced to my ears. Also, ex1000 does not deal very well so ti me the soundstage is a larger (kind of like comparing closed vs open back headphones). The bass is a bit more punchy on the ex1000 because it is a dynamic driver.

Hope this helps!

EX1000 is a bit warmer in my opinion, mainly because of bass that is much more natural and goes deeper then Andro. Best bass I have heard in any iem so far.
Highs are just different, I don't find it lacking in EX, but Andro has this sparkle that may be so appealing to many. You need to listen to EX in quite silent environment to appreciate its highs.
EX has natural tonality, BAs won't sound this beautiful and coherent ever I think. Both have great soundstage, wide but not that deep. Andro sounds so airy for a closed iem, but I love EX more, it's just this feeling like open headphone, nothing stands in sound's way.

Don't they leak a lot of sound though?

I agree with this! I think the reason some people say that the ex1000 is too bright is because they are not inserting them deeply enough. When inserted deeply enough the bass is quite powerful!

They actually don’t leak very much. Meaning, it should not bother people around you. But they are not great for isolating. I do like walking my dog while wearing them because I can be aware of my surroundings better than with andromeda. However, they are prone to noise wind because of their shape.

I do agree with an above comment about how they are best when in a quiet environment.
