What do others recommend for tips to try? Need to be easily purchasable in UK, so if you have links or advise accordingly, big cheers in advance.

Tried loads of different makes, including Mandarin's with the inners taken out, have settled on Blackbird foam tips from HiFi Headphones. Prefer these to silicone for Andro's.

Well after weeks and weeks or reading these forums I have today ordered my Andromedas to replace my CA Lyra2 . Looking forward to listening to them and see if it such a step up .....I am hoping

I see a number of recs for the JVC Spiral Dot tips too - can anyone confirm the Medium size correspond to the medium size Campfire silicones? Or should I go for ML size in the Spirals?

Bought a pair of Andromeda Green, plus a 2.5mm trrs bal cable from the same place* only a few months ago. The extra cable was a bit of a waste of money as both CA cables were soon sitting in a drawer, replaced with a Forza hybrid 2.5mm trrs cable. Was a little disheartened when the Solaris were launched just 34 days after I purchased the AndroG as I was initially taken in by the (ridiculously over inflated) hype by some reviewers here on head-fi, but now the dust has settled, they are not Nirvana and I am saved from both, looking like a Maasai Tribesman (ginormous ear jewellery) when wearing them out on the street and from forlornly staring into an empty wallet for the next few months.

Anyway, back on topic.....I tried a few tips and for me the MandarinE's (peeled) were superb, low maintenance tips (I bought a few std tips to stockpile from Audio Sanctuary and peel to order), but they never sit totally comfortably in my ears, infact a little uncomfortable in my right. But the Champion for me has been Comply TS-400 Comfort tips. I tried their standard tips on some Sennheiser IE80S iem's and hated them, but the 'Comfort' range is in another league, I get a great seal, a little more bass and slightly tamer treble but they are so comfortable (and easy to insert) I can wear them all day long. I couldn't find a retailer in the UK selling them so had to order from Singapore, via Ebay (LINK) , I've ordered twice from this seller (first to try the ear tips, second time to make sure I don't run out), they've taken 3-4 weeks to arrive on both occasions

Amazed how bright and clear these sound without ever being sibilant. Great paired with ZX300 really helps bring up the lower end (compared with my other player) feel much more balanced, and I imagine I'm listening to the music as the artist intended - nothing accentuated.

Ok, so I've had a few days with Andro SS and I'm floored. I've been through plenty pairs of headphones of all form factors over the years and this is the first time I've felt that "music sounds good" instead of "these have great mids" or "I love the soundstage on these". I've been listening to music and hearing the music instead of nitpicking the technicals.

I had a transcendental moment listening to "Inertia Creeps" from Massive Attack's Mezzanine, every note was liquid smooth but the smoothness never translated to loss of detail. In the intro to the "Hell Freeze's Over" version of "Hotel California" I can make out out percussive taps on the fretboard from the hammered-on notes. There is zero sense of harshness or sibilance with these. As I write this I've got Norah Jones' "Day Breaks" on and her voice is so silky but at the same time the high-hats and snares have just enough "tizz" to sound natural and the bass has a perfect weight to it.

I'm running them single-ended from a FiiO Q5 (AM3A), very minor hiss with nothing playing. I have a balanced cable but I'm waiting until I have them burned into my brain before I swap so I can better grasp the differences. Needless to say I'm in love, these check all of my boxes.

Am I the only one who does not like the Mandarin tipps with Andromeda? They are for me too bassy so that Andromeda lost a bit of brightness.

I currently have the lyra 2. My Andres arrive today and I am hoping the large comply foams I have bought for the lyra 2 will be suitable as have a lot of them. I had to order from the USA and paid customs the lot for the tips so I ordered 6 pairs and I am tight I am in the wrong hobby I know

I see that CA recommend the foam tips as the best for their IEMs, and after testing between the supplied tips, thats spot on to my ears - the medium foams are perfect. But if the Blackbird are the same or even improve the sound, then that's gonna be much cheaper and easier for me than ordering via CA.

You want the S30 size. All I can say is foam work best for me plus these are a fair price. I bought these because some foamies don't last long but so far these are holding up well, once you get a good seal these sound as good as anything I've tried including the supplied foam tips.
