ah, they have traveled with me everyday for around six months.
Could have happened anytime. I should not let them share the case with other metal IEMs. My fault.

But I do love them. My preeeciiious...

Damon, you should tell them a story how one time you were attacked by ninjas on the mean streets of Tokyo, and you had to defend yourself by swinging Andromeda on SPC Litz cable, using them like nunchakus

That's why they look a little dented

Been cruising through this thread the last couple days as the Nova has been on my radar along with the Savants (or Sage when released) as an upgrade to my Noble 3U's. As much as I enjoy the N3U's, the emphasized bass and recessed mids has left me wanting to change up. After reading reviews and comments here I'm beginning to get the impression the Nova's are the Nighthawks of IEM's with its solid preforming bass and mids and rolled off treble, am I way off base here? Anyone willing to give a comparison of the Nova's vs the Savants as well?

What kind of sound sig do you prefer? I have the Nova and you'll probably be satisfied with it's excellent balance, though after hearing the Andromeda, I felt the lack in treble sparkle which sounded very pleasing to my ears.

I have owned both the Wizard Savant and the Nova. I currently am using the DITA Audio Answer (Truth Edition) and the Andromeda as my go to iems, for reference.

Nova- Right off the bat you will find the treble is recessed but the bass and mids are very linear so, to my ears you get a supremely relaxing sound with the Nova. Think more organic/warm than bright with zero sibilance to surprise you.

Savant- The Savant is more well rounded in that the lower most sub-bass is gently rolled off as well as the uppermost treble. As a result the Savant sounds closer to neutral but possesses a mild mid-bass hump. To my ears the Savant sounds borderline bright which will let a small amount of sibilance through with poor recordings. I will say that the Savant is more technically proficient as a result of keeping the treble in line with the audible frequency response curve.

I hope this helps.

Well, since i've barely ventured into IEM's at all, I'll have to use full size cans to describe what I'm looking for.
My main setup is with the both the HD600 and T1 from a tube amp, so safe to say I am looking for a neutral and natural sig leaning towards warm and mid centric. The highs on the T1 can be a bit much with some recordings and the 600's tend to sit just perfect for most, so the Nova lacking some sparkle up top concerns me. I'd like to find an all rounder (mission impossible?) with decent isolation I can use around the house when open, full size won't cut it. Genres of music range from classical and jazz, rock and its sub genres, to some EDM and the like. So far the Nova, Savants and Shure 535 have caught my eye, though unfortunately theres no way to try any of them locally.

This is a great help and much appreciated!
