I checked the site and didn't see anything but 4 brief comments, nothing about improvements in sound.  They all lead to full reviews here at head-fi and there's nothing new about it.
 
If what you're claiming was officially announced by Ken Ball, then I would've agreed.

not to derail the thread but chassis can affect the sound in which many have agreed that ak380 copper edition sounds better than ak380 normal. You can do some research.
Now back to the Andromeda!

Actual material construction that contacts and interacts with the sound waves bouncing around inside can influence sound. In the case of the ak380, if I were to believe those claims, it would have to do with copper's properties concerning electrical waves and noise. In the case of something like an exterior coating change on the Campfire Audio IEMs, you'll be a bit daft to think it would impact the sound.

Exactly the reason I prefer a lighter paint color for my car...preferably White. The white color reflects solar flares that can effect the sound of the music listened to inside (white lettering on tires used to make cars go faster). I also believe that wearing a hat made of tin foil will decrease the chance of aliens extracting my thoughts.

I asked before, but someone tried Andromeda with pure silver cable .I worry too bright sound because i have qp1r.

I'm running the largest gauge, purist silver cable available with the same combination. The bass hits really hard and is only complimented by the highs. I was sent the cable to try and see how I liked it. It never made the return trip back
