Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova

Exactly the reason I prefer a lighter paint color for my car...preferably White. The white color reflects solar flares that can effect the sound of the music listened to inside (white lettering on tires used to make cars go faster). I also believe that wearing a hat made of tin foil will decrease the chance of aliens extracting my thoughts.

I should change the color of my Nova to green.  Perhaps there will be added sparkle on the treble!  Hahaha!

Hi guys
I asked before, but someone tried Andromeda with pure silver cable .I worry too bright sound because i have qp1r.

If you use extremely high quality silver or high purity silver it shouldn't increase the brightness. It will increase the transparency. If you are really concern about it, then use copper. I personally do not like copper too much except for my HD800 where I need to tune down the treble.

Hello guys, just wondering but out of the Orion & Nova, which has the more clearer sound. I'm really interested in purchasing one of them and wondering how they both compare to the Pinnacle P1 & Ibasso IT03. I'd be using the iem straight off my phone with the Shozy Magic Amp/Dac and poweramp Alpha.

Orion has the clearer sound. Nova is warmer with less energy up top.

I havent really heard the Orion.

I will have to try it at the next show.

Try it. I was just chatting with HardstyleLoco96 via PM this morning about Orion. It's one I got to hear pre-production when I stopped by ALO to pick up an Rx Amp one day. Ken had pre-production Orion, Lyra, and Jupiter out for me to audition. Alongside those were his AK240 abs a pair of FitEar TG334. I loved Lyra and Jupiter but wasn't too keen on Orion. It was too sterile in comparison.

Skip forward several months, and I got a listen to final production Orion with the new Litz cable. Something had charged. I was impressed with their warmer sound and ended up buying a pair.

Needless to say, I'm glad I gave Orion another listen!

The more i listen to this combo, the more i like it.

Andro is a bright IEM but the copper cable brings lower ends and power to the Andro without losing much sparkle.

Any thought and on SE vs balanced? Some people I know have noted it going from being a good Dap to being ahead of anything on the market when you go balanced.

I would say, just go for balanced.

SE is good but it can't give you what the balanced can. It's a whole new different world.

Silly season rig

With reference 8 balanced cable

Does the drum feels very wide with this combo?

Like left cymbals to extreme left and right cymbals on the extreme right. Not feeling like the drum set is in front of you.

Something like a very long drumset.

Sorry I uploaded the wrong picture.(its the litz).

I really like the Andromeda with the balanced Ref 8 cable.

Hard to tell whether its the 1ohm output of the Opus balanced compared to the single 2ohm, or the cable or the foamies.

I am going to a Campfire audio cable shoot out early in the new year.
Litz single and balanced, reference 8 single and balanced.

I will trst with a few daps and also the centrance hifi-m8 with it impedance switches
