Does anyone have an idea how long it will be before we can buy the GS-1000 outside of the US?

I really want to buy one and obviously I can't

I think John should allow Todd to sell them to Head-Fi members that are not in the US!

Please John?

I feel for you, I really do. That sucks.

The best I can suggest is to keep an eye on the for sale forum. Since the GS-1000 is shaping up to be a FoTM (I'm guilty myself, I ordered a pair), I have a feeling you might see a turn-around in the for sale forum.

On the other hand, if the early impressions/reviews I am reading about the GS-1000s are true, people may be very reluctant to sell them.

Time will tell, and I wish you the best of luck.

IMO If the boxes aren't going to be available until July then that would be the earliest that the cans could be sold outside of the US

It's not that he can't ship outside of the US that sucks, it's the MSRP that has to be followed or else that's the problem of us non-americans. Poor Europe!

Totally agree! There is no way I would have paid nearly £700 for a RS-1. Got one from a seller on ebay for just under £400.

I wonder what the cost of the GS-1 will be in the UK, £900/£1000?

The GS1000 is going to be distributed by Grado's dealer network. So, once it is in full production, you should be able to get one anywhere there is a Grado dealer.
