i was trying to get the best value for my money- ok i was trying to be cheap!- and i bought jvc ha-s700 from amazon. i had tried bose triports and these were comparable according to reviews, but they just don't feel right on my ears. my last pair of headphones were sennheiser rs120 and except for the sound i loved them. maybe i should have gotten the ad700's that i really wanted? oh well, lesson learned i guess.

You should be able to return the headphones to Amazon easily enough.

If you got them from Amazon, return them. I've found their return policy (and service in general) to be top notch.

i sold 2 has700s here on head fi in less than 24 hours of posting their ads
reselling wont be a problem
 
just curious...how do you afford the ad700 on a has700 budget?
