My re0's have just become defective after 4 months of use, only mine was the left earphone. Pity, but you get what you pay for. The Fischer Audio DBA-02 may be something to look into.
I too, receive some signal when moving the cable around. I've even gone as far as using scotch tape to keep it held in place. I'm desperate to keep them working so I can try them with my coming S:Flo2. After that I'm going to buy me a different, but similar sounding pair of IEMs.
Zeppelin rules!
You should go with the ER4S if you like the sound signature of the RE0, but much better sound quality. I have had my ER4S for almost 7 years! Not a problem with them.
My main problem with the RE0 is that one of the tips was loose out of the box. As a result, the tip is always left behind in my ear when I try to pull out the earphone. Then I have to fish it out, everytime. I tried the tip with my right and left ear and it was the same deal. So I emailed Head-Direct, but they were not convinced. They were saying that the problem was my right ear. I really got fed up emailing them back and forth. However, I am not happy with Head-Direct!
