Is there anyway to know what you are getting? Once you purchase it, you can see through your DAP, correct? But without purchasing you are just really taking the word of the website? Is there any other way to get super high res files, from a CD purchase? I am fairly sure CDs are limited, unless it's a SACD.

On a side note, I received Rwak120b yesterday, really enjoying it... so much that I think I want a new 120ii...red wine of course.

while I appreciate your enthusiasm I would just like to say that hi-rez doesn't guarantee good recordings, so if you get some tracks that don't really sound better than your mp3s don't make a blanket assumption.

Yep. I just bought a quite average DSD recorded album. No guarenteed.

Oh I know I just bought Michael Jackson album in DSD file and was amazed, I still transfer most of my MP3 on it as well cause let's face I have over a thousand songs from iTunes

Hmmm...you are not only facing the time required to transfer your music but to upgrade your low res music to high res.

Sorry, I failed to hear any sonic differences between the two with my Fitear C435... maybe my earphones are not revealing enough.....for the record, the one SACD I have on these microsd cards did not bring enough differences between the two...

I been transfering music for the last 3hrs, between DSD and other files and IAM only on letter B out of a thousand songs hehe! Hey is a FLAC file a higher resolution then MP3?

You may get Flac albums in high res but not MP3

Now. For the AK100II system update I click on it and it says no new software update,and when I click on the application update it says 1.0.8,,my firmware version says 1.00,is that version the latest?

 A colleague on the same floor just bought one so it is convenient and comfortable for me to compare... Dont really like AB-ing at shops. I will try to compare again with higher transparency iems e.g. 1Plus2 later... Next week, I am getting a loaner of QLS QA360.

EQ settings depends on headphones. I use it gently to correct some mid bass hump, push up the vocal a little on my UE18 PRO, - all in all never exceed +2db overall, just a few simple corrections and now it sound so good. 
 
One of easy way is to check the frequency chart of the headphones first and then compensate for the dips and peaks a little to flatten it..u know like adjusting the color in photoshop, it does improve alot IMO.

Agreed.  Somehow, regardless how quite the shop is (like Jaber in Mongkok), it is hard to get a good impression to do AB-ing at the shop.

Please use Exact Audio Copy to extract your music from cds in 16/44 WAV or FLAC.
