hello friends, what is the latest firmware, stable and without problems on Zishan z2?
Just treat it as 100R.Does anyone know the output impedance of Zishan Z2?
Thank you very much.
Would you mind sharing your "passive filter"? Thanks.Absolutely!
Having said that, AK4490 has built-in filters, so the analog one is only contributing to filtering, not doing it on and by itself. Also, all the caps and resistors are (mostly) in place, so I have a passive filter (instead of an active one that utilises OP amp).
Sure.
My Z2 + V6 Vivid Dual, happy ears.
Improvement on clarity, separation and depth
Yes, also removed 360ohm resistors next to opamp and MKT caps replaced stock (half the capacitance though). So, you removed the Op-Amp that was between the two large square gray capacitors?
Just treat it as 100R.
I was listening with Andromeda which are relatively sensitive on both the se and bal out. Single ended sounded garbage to my ears. While the balance out gave me a pleasant surprise. The difference between se and bal is night and day. I did a quick A/B with the F1 (Burson V5i) + Nexus 6p (volume at about 70%) and ibasso dx200 + amp3 module and I gotta say that the F1 combo can hold its own. The F1 actually sounds more "airy" and analog with wider soundstage. Now if only I could figure out how to keep the Burson V5i op amp installed and put the cover back on the F1 I'd be a happy camper.
Solution to create a custom acrylic box matching with most of opamp height for my walnut F1 is in my thought now.
Instead of buying one of the Walnut v3 (Balanced Output) DAPs, I'm checking with the local "Creator Group", to make a case (either metal or copper-foil lined plastic), that will house a Zishan Z2 and a Walnut F1 Balanced Amp, along with a 5000 - 7000mAh battery.
