This is all unconfirmed story but for what I know, owner of Visang used to be partner in Vsonic. But a few years ago the partnership broke apart and Visang was found. Lets just say the two companies are less than friendly toward each other.

This is what I heard as well. I believe they still occupy the same building though, just separate floors.

Looking forward to the M3

Interesting competitor in the already crowded <$100 market. Really hope this thing sounds good! The Visang R02 and R03 were surprisingly good for their price, competition is good for us consumers!

.  Joker, raz stated that review units have been sent. Have you received a pair?

Nope, not yet at least. I'm a little anxious as I really don't like those housings. If the sound is better than the M2 (which I still use almost every day) I'll be terribly conflicted, fit and all.

Would be interested to hear more impressions in due time. I too don't like the housing. If these were Visang 04, they don't seem as widely acclaimed in mainland China, according to some chinese sites, the reviews have been mixed.

At the higher price bracket they sell for, I'd assume they are looking at some tough competition. Will be looking closely to see how it fare against Re0, Zero, Re252, Xcape and perhaps also the new ECCI PR401.

I'm apparently getting to review a pair also, as raz has asked for my mailing address. Yea! My acid test is in comparison to my old, venerable, time-tested S4s...

Does anyone want to see a review of the "limited edition Visang R04" from a Chinese Website translated by Google to English.
Maybe someone can help translate the Google Translation

I do believe the reviewer refers to it as a pseudo IE8
