So, I bought some of the Beats by Dre. I didn't know any better...and as an inexperienced novice I thought they sounded good. They do sound good, but I've recently gotten into some higher end cans (Westone 3s, etc) and wanted to know what you guys would recommend for replacing these Beats.

I listen to a lot of folk rock, acoustic, etc (Civil Wars, John Mayer, Mumford and Sons, Ray Lamontagne) blues rock, and some occasional 80s music (shameless...).

I mostly listen through my macbook pro through a Fiio e11.

I like a great blend of crisp highs, great clarity, but a full sounding bass.

This is my first post on the head-fi (I've been a watcher and learner for about 6 months), so please forgive me if I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks for any advice! (And thanks for all of the months of reading material and cool reviews!)

Crisp highs and full bass =  Beyerdynamics DT990Pro 250ohm

As you can see from my sig, you can see I own a pair of them.  With the Fiio11, you can drive fine.  It's around $180 on amazon, depending on when you pull the trigger.
