Can anyone make a comparement between QC25 and QC35
I would like to have a comparement regarding NOISE REDUCTION.
Does it also eleminate voices? The QC25 did not so fine, hope theQC35 is better in eleminatingVoices (male and female)

Here is the QC25 Diagramm

I hope, innerfidelity will test the QC35 soon

Based on their updated patents page, seems that Bose made changes (beyond just enabling bluetooth & rechargeable battery) compared to the QC25. They have 16 patents associated specifically with the QC35.

For example, here's one for improving the rejection of wind noise by the microphones

Weight seems about the same.  (Bose website says the QC35 is 10.9 oz. Sennheiser website seems to omit the weight.)  However, the QC35 seems lighter on the head.  Clamping pressure of the QC35 is lighter and the headband is well formed so that it's ever so slightly more comfortable (for my large head) for long listening sessions.  The Senns are very comfortable as well, but a little tighter on the ears.  I had some trouble at first getting them to seal at the bottom of the ear, but the swivel mechanism has now loosened up and that no longer seems to be a problem.

I want to underscore the headband thing. The foam padding on these makes a huge, huge difference in comfort over pretty much all my other cans. I haven't felt a hotspot on the top of my head yet, and they balance almost perfectly between carrying weight there and my jawline. That's why I was surprised when I looked up the weight and found these to be on the heavier side of the range. I thought for sure they'd be closer to 250g from the comfort.

I ordered these and they should be here tomorrow. I made the compromise on SQ for the convenience of Bluetooth more than a year ago with the Beats Solo2 wireless, bluetooth is amazing and they're great for walking around the city, SQ is tolerable, I listen to mostly podcasts anyway so that's okay. I also have the QC25 for travel, to me they are absolutely necessary on the plane. Now the QC35 sorta marries the 2 cans, I'm selling the beats and QC25 for the QC35. I was surprised to read that the QC35 sounds better, that's great. I'm definitely not super pleased with the SQ of the QC25, but ANC is incredible for flights.

There are a few other things I like about the QC35. Looks like it can simultaneously connect to 2 devices, that is great coz my use case is my phone and my Apple TV, with the Beats it's annoying to have to disconnect (albeit it's pretty straightforward, just pressing the button for a few seconds to disconnect). The AAA battery for the 25 seemed like a good idea coz you can buy them easily, but it's still kindda a pain. The QC35 still comes with the airplane adaptor which I need for a lot of my international flights. There is really not much downside to it.

Pretty excited to get them tomorrow. :)

Hopefully you can give us a comparison with the studio wireless for SQ

Thanks again. I was thinking what to get but I really need to try them first. Too bad they are not yet available here in the PH. I have small ears so I need it as "small" and portable as possible (I will probably look ridiculous wearing it outside lol). I'd like to try a wireless headphone to avoid the hassle of cables when commuting.

Sitting on the fence between the venerable Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 and this new Bose QC 35.
I know that each cans have their own signature sound, but if Senn sound quality and sound stage is still a direct upgrade over the QC 35 I will go with the Senn Momentum 2.0.

Anyone who has the new QC 35 and willing to give a direct comparison on this will be sent my first newborn to serve as your private escort. Maybe

The question is how much of a differene bt 5.0 brings to audio quality. And your phone also needs to support the new standard.

I believe BT 4.0 supports 1Mbit/s. This isn't terrible, but is certainly not in the realm of lossless. If BT 5.0 has a datarate of 4Mbit/s, it could potentially have much truer lossless audio streaming.

If you're streaming spotify, it won't matter much. If you want to cut the cord but still listen to your HQ rips, BT 5.0 is a big deal.

I ordered the Bose QC35 via Amazon and should be with me by June 16 in the UK. Will post impressions after.

Blue tooth 5.0. I am absolutely convinced Bose is well aware of Blutooth 5.0, yet they made the decision not to wait for it. Interesting decision considering they have a long product refresh cycle, so may be this indicates it will not have such an impact on wireless headphone purchasing criteria.

My understanding is that Airplay via Apple devices is CD Quality. I use airplay from my iPhone 6plus to my Creative Soundblaster and sounds better than direct lightning connection.

5.0 is not a big deal, it shouldn't prevent you from buying the QC35. It will be a few years til your devices and headphones will support newer codecs or profiles that take advantage of the higher bandwidth. And even at that bw, these cans aren't good enough to sound any different between high quality Spotify / AppleMusic stream and true lossless rips (or Tidal? but pretty sure that won't be around by the time 5.0 is adopted lol).

I tend to agree with that. However I sure hope 5.0 brings some high quality audio in the future.
