Spending time tonight with the 266 pk32, I much prefer to the 266 mx150 - very nice mids, bass and treble but hasn't touched on being harsh at all so far.
I would even hazard to say that the PK 32Ω version of the Blur 266R MX/PK Reference (MX 32/64/150/300Ω aPs; MX 400Ω non-aPs; PK 32Ω; 266v4 aka "266 Clear" cabling) which absorbed the both the driver and tuning of the basshead lovers Blur 266 PK32 New Line (which had replaced the special/ultimate basshead limited edition Blur PK16 White Face which is hands down the warmest and bassiest earbud ever created by Blur) is now currently the warmest & bassiest model available from Blur.
The Wraith and New Line were very close in warmth with the New Line slightly bassier so the 189 Hybrid PK150 and the 266R PK32 Reference are therefore very close as well.
So in order of increasing warmth I would offer the following with the models in dark green being currently available:

As I've got along better with the 266 pk32 (mine I think is new line?), I reckon pk32 Reference might be next. What is the R after 266? I'm not a fan of the stiffness and microphonics of the current 266 cable and that has been a blocker to listening quite a lot. I know the 189 cable is better, is 266R?

Yes, I believe you have one of the last Blur 266 PK32 New Line made.
The "R" simply refers that it is of the Reference series using the version 4 266 cabling which is clear insulated. I think the 189 Hybrid and 266 Clear cabling are very similar with the 266 Clear being slightly of higher quality and cost.
Blur 266R MX/PK aPs Reference = for 266R the 266 means "266 Clear" Litz Copper cabling (see above) and the R means Blur Reference Tuning
Blur 266v4 aka "266 Clear" = copper; Litz copper wire in thick clear insulation; each 133; combined both are 266 (used on 266R Reference)

Anyway, when you get Cayin N6ii-Ti the music should sound warmer, as on my XI Audio Broadway, I think a very affordable DAP for this is Cayin N3PRo, and even cheaper Xduoo MT-604.
Tubes and R2R add warmth to earbuds and get vocals so sweet

Ok, this has escalated to euphoric listening experience status! I'm blown away by how well these work together - stunning. Enjoying too much to stop but I'll try the 266 MX150 tomorrow to see if ZX507 can take the edge off.
