ok so check the app and player settings and make sure you're getting green or blue light on mqa albums

The light on the front of the node

No, on the bluesound app while the song is playing.

Mqa external dac is turned off in settings. The little light beside the mqa symbol. Located at the bottom left of the song, that’s playing is blue. Did not see a option that said ’Master’

That looks ok but possibly check the option in the Tidal portion of the bluesound app. I am away from my setup damn covid so I can't remember.

Thinking of getting one of these for my lounge setup. I currently listen to most music via Tidal (Master) - Shield TV - Denon x3500 - Musical Fidelity M3i (HT bypass).

Thinking this would be easier to use the app, not have the TV on and hopefully improve SQ with the MQA decoding?

The one element of the setup I'm not sure how to integrate is I also have my 2 channel setup running into the integrated amp. Rega TT - M3i - Heed Canamp (from Tape rec out).

I'd love to use the Canamp to listen to the Bluesound node also - thinking this would be better than the Nodes head amp? It drives my Q701's so well.

The tape rec out on the M3i should route this through to the Canamp yeah? That's what it's currently doing from the turntable input.

The one issue I have currently is I can't get input back out of the x3500 avr to the Canamp via the integrated amp, so if I want to listen to tunes other than the TT on it I have to get my Oppo HA-2 DAC , connect my phone and leads to the Canamp. Massive pain.

This unit could solve most of these problems I think.

There is no headamp in the node. Just run the node 2i RCA out into whatever and you're done.

I'm surprised I could not find a dedicated thread for this device... what gives? I've had one for about a week now and it's nothing short of awesome. Ease of use, pretty seamless integration with a multitude of musical services (namely Tidal), and then there's the thing that surprised me the most - the sound quality. I've been using it as a transport to my DAC and it's phenomenal for the relative bag of change that paid for it. I briefly tried the internal DAC and it wasn't anything to scoff at either and should certainly suffice for anyone with reasonable expectations. I'm sure there's better sound to be had out there but I can't imagine for the price these go for.

Set up wasn't the easiest and the software is buggy, for me it's worth the trade off. Anyone else currently enjoying theirs?

If it had a balanced output, I'd like it a whole lot more. It is pretty nice as-is though.

Anyone getting issues with the music constantly cutting out since the update?

yes, really frickin annoying
What's hilarious is in the release notes it literally says they made WiFi more stable or something like that. Looks to me they borked the drivers for networking. With my gigabit connection there should be zero buffering whatsoever.
