Been considering a Node replacement upgrade but the contenders all seem to cost multiples of Node - So decided to try upgrading the power supply. Just received the PD Creative conversion kit and LPS from Poland and am hoping I have time to perform the surgery this weekend. Will report back…

Seems like all the likely replacements put money into fancy displays instead of making good music. Looking forward to your results

Installation was easy and took me about 15 minutes. Hardest part was getting the top case to fit back on to the bottom due to the weird hinge/clasp design of the Node casework. In all fairness to Bluesound, I don’t think they ever thought people would be taking the thing apart. Tested briefly to make sure it worked, and yes, music emerged. Will not pass judgement on the sound changes until I have more time to listen. Initial impressions: bass is bigger, fuller and cleaner. Mids and treble I have to wait and listen more.
