Must add, I am getting best seal with AKG N5005 Spinfits. I have read, CP145. Also tried Symbio W, but liked included Xelento asymetric tips better sound and comfort.

you own both the N5005 and Xelento? How do they compare?

The custom stock silicones are supreme comfort here compared too the deep insertion "pierce" of the spinfits. The customs are warmer and fuller sound compared too the slightly decreased bass which puts a bit of emphasis on everything else. I much prefer the customs long term day too day. The symbios just hurt physically in general. Foams do not do her any justice.

There is always posibility for X tips, if I care for less bass slam and a little bit pronounced mids and highs. Regarding n5005, l am now on spinfit and bass boost. Slightly less mid bas and slam, but deeper sub bass than Xelento. Greater feeling of detail retreival than Xelento. I am now listening most with Xelentos.

Remove the foam from symbio - you get symbio peeled - for me the most comfortable and best sounding tip for this inear

The Comply Comfort TSX 200 L just looks like the best tips for me for the Xelento. Best sealing, rumbling but precise bass and preserves all the details. Glad I ordered it blindly and finally worked out well.

The EAM-t's are 4 X's the price...

I would say the EAM-t's sounds more natural (but also more distant), needs way more power, and its wearing comfort is horrible (due to the size and weight of the armatures), Xelento has a true sub-bass, so all things considered the Xelento is a better headphone. Boom.

• Silver Cable and Copper Cable? Which is Preferred?

Also saw a post that there is a first generation and second generation Xelento? How do I tell which Gen ?

Replacement buds have arrived. BD mentioned being matched pairs, they had to provide the set.

They have been super throughout this situation, including the reasonable replacement cost (not disclosed).
