I'm really interested in hearing about someones opinion on this. I almost recently ordered a pair of DT880 600ohm because I love the beyerdynamic design. I would be very willing to sell my 650s if the T70s were similar.

I seriously doubt anybody has listened to both of them as of now. Also, they're two different approaches : one is closed, the other is open, so I'm not sure they correspond to the same needs.

Graphs shouldn't be over interpreted and can't really tell you exactly how a pair of headphones will sound - but it's a great way to start searching. I personally use them to eliminate anything that looks plain horrible for example.
Both the T70 and the HD650 measure rather well (at least in comparison to other headphones). What you can already see is that the T70 has a substantially stronger spike in the trebles area, seems to extend a bit more in the bass, and that's just frequency response. What you can't know is, for example, the way the driver was dampened (it affect bass impact for example).

I've not had the pleasure of touching a T70 yet, but I do have the HD650, and from what I've read, the T70 looks to be a less bassy headphone that is a bit on the bright side, so completely opposite of the HD650, which is rather darker and more mellow and has more bass than something neutral (but not huge bass).

For me, I carry PXC 450 for travel and office and I listen to the 650 when I'm in my home office. I would prefer to carry a single set of headphones, however I'm not sure if the T70 sound signature is what I would like.

Sennheiser PXC450 is a great headphone isn't it ?
I use that in my office and on a plane.

Is hard to say... Sennheiser is an amazing headphone, but like someone said... A little bit dark... More.... lay back...
 
Beyer has a signature sound specially with this new models... with the T1 exception... they tend to be bright....

I'd recommend the Senn HD650. Do some research for though. There's A LOT to be found on the Senn HD650 (i.e. get a good source + amp) whereas there's diddly squat on the T70 as far as reviews and impressions go. You always want to know what you're getting into.

You referring to me sir? If yes, because I can get used T70 below HD 600 and T90 at my country cost more than HD 650. Currently there's a used DT 880 Pro which cost below used T70.
