I have the 80 ohm DT770 pro. They are great for everything. I use them for music, games, movies. They sound great on an ipod too. I have never really put an amp on them.

Def throw an amp on those. Blow you away! I returned my 80 ohms cuz I prefer the smoother sound of the 250s
 
@protocol I've got the 250 ohms, my fave cans. E7 didn't quite cut it for me, went with the E11 for portable. Has 2 levels of bass boost and a high and low gain switch.

Trust me, the DT770PRO is definitely better than the momentum.
I just sold it and go for DT770PRO 250OHM few days ago.
The soundstage of DT770PRO is much much more wider than the momentum.
If you are bass head, go and look for 80ohm ver

Ill just say this much.  You will be pleased with your purchase.  Do you want to feel pleased?  Then you are clear for a dt770-80 purchase, for sure.  They are nice all around.   The forums didn't lie. lol.  (found that out for myself)
