[size=large]beyer T50p: beyerdynamic Announces The T50p Portable Tesla Headphones[size=x-small]

beyerdynamic is now entering the portable market. Yes, I know they already had an in-ear monitor, but I think it fair to say that beyer hasn't yet made the big splash on the portable audio scene. That seems about to change, as beyer announced the release of the beyerdynamic T 50 p headphone, which is a portable headphone using technology they developed for their flagship T1 (Tesla 1). (In my time with the T1, I found it to be one of the best currently available headphones on the market, and a viable competitor to Sennheiser's flagship HD800.)
If the T50p proves to be anything like a portable version of the T1, color me excited.
The beyerdynamic T50p will be available in late May 2010, and will be priced at 229 Euro (I'll post the U.S. price when I find it).
