...back down to a 'normal' impedance for regular listening on all sorts of sundry devices?

I'm guessing the answer is "no" in which case life sucks! Mine are still under warranty and (due to circumstances largely beyond my control) I've used them for no more than 4 hours tops. I'm now shedding the complete audio rig including the Headline which used to drive them. They're beautiful though - a symphony in gold and red leather and I'd like to keep them.

Does anyone know if they can be converted? I'm going to ask Beyer but I thought I'd seek advice here before coming across as a complete numpty!

Thanks.

What kind of device did you want to use it with?

I just fancied keeping them to use with computers / TV and maybe 'regular' integrated headphone socket (if whatever I replace my main audio system with has one - it'll be a low-cost 'one box' solution whatever...)

I've just put them on eBay but I can easily pull my listing if you think they could be reduced. Unlikely though I'm guessing...

Thanks!
