My dealings with Little Dot were very positive. In terms of customer service and value-for-money they get my vote. Couldn't say which specific amp is the 'best' though.

I own the LD III and 7 other more expensive, Amps, tube and ss, without going into detail comparasions the LD is one heck of a value and compares well to eveything else I own or have listened to. I'm a big fan of LD

Bought Little Dot direct from China no problems glorious sound and with tubes can tailor the sound to what you like.

Another vote for little dot. Had a MKII which didnt sound bad with some cheap russian tubes (bit on the muddy side with the standard ones) + good communication like others said.

Think Keces is making amps too these days. Dunno how those sound, but their DACs are alright + good communication too.
edit: they dont make tube amps tho :x
