i'll agree with some of the others here.... anything from john williams, thomas newman, hans zimmer, james horner

two personal favorites right now

And, not a soundtrack, but a collection of amazing Ennio Morricone film music: Yo Yo Ma Plays Ennio Morricone

I generally dislike soundracks but these always get played

Soundtrack to My So-Called Life

Soundtrack to Hero ('In the Chess Court' is amazing)
