ES9018K2M + AD45275 on Meizu Pro 6 Plus, looks good, similar to other ES9018K2M based devices. Haven't tested it through.

Yes, with 100db DR and -86db THD+N in A/D, M-Audio Fast Track Pro is pretty out of league today.

If they change their audio interface/sound card, It means that all previous test results on every phone, which used M-Audio Fast Track Pro, are incomparable to new test results.

As It's loopback testing, quality of ADC is also a factor.

yes.

and for general users, M-Audio Fast Track Pro is good enough, the ability to identify extremely bad sound quality is good enough. sound quality difference between medium, good and top devices is meaningless for most user. in that sense, GSMArena's result is more meaningful to a general user.

New list updated, added various new Vivo and Gigaset phones

Man that new Xplay 6 is only a dream to me

Yes the Xplay 6 is very interesting. It actually has a Yamaha chip. Would love to have that phone. I believe your Lenovo entry is inaccurate. Yes I know we've already been through this, but if you've been following the thread the consensus seems to be that the X3 Lite does not have the ESS DAC. What it does have seems to be a bit of a mystery. It would help if someone could read the Chinese characters on that Lenovo web site you found, but no Chinese speakers have come forward to do so. It may only have the Wolfson WM8281 or maybe some other DAC+amp. When you next update your list I suggest you at the very least put an asterisk next to some entries to indicate the data is uncertain. Or something like that. And the A7010 is definitely not the same phone as the X3 Lite. I think the A7010 only has the WM8281, but of course it is difficult to know for sure.

Just that the price of xplay series is not reasonable...

Meizu just announced their new Pro 6 Plus phone, looks like it will sport a ESS ES9018K2M chip. Overall looks like an amazing phone, may be exactly what I was waiting for!
Hopefully the battery life and camera performance don't disappoint.

according to Vivo's spec, Xplay6 uses ES9038 (what is that? it certainly is not ES9038PRO) + OPA1622

That's the problem with Vivo in general. Their phones always seem overpriced. Does anyone even know the price for the Xplay 6? Outside of India where could you actually buy one anyway? Here in the Philippines we only have some of the Y and V series. No Xplay.
