I have Marshall and it is good enough. But its just too simple as a smartphone )

Each of us has its own ears it seems. I own both XD-05 and LG V20 and I don't remember a marked difference in sound quality to the benefit of XD-05. Rather the opposite. I don't have DT880 250ohm to test, but DT990 Pro (same 250ohm) and others from AKG, Sennheiser, Fostex or Audeze.
Now if you just test with 300+ohm headphones, or hungry planars, maybe xduoo works better because amping is more powerfull. You should try a blind test, with sound volumes matched. And listen to microdetails.

Yes buddy. I have done blind test on my brother tontest the sound quality and after fixing equal volume output on both.
Last day i tried oton my two friends also...
G6 vs xduoo xd05... Same track... Same volume

Also i hope you have used dsd format files to play and also... Use hibyplayer to get the best out of it... There is considerable difference

Does anyone know what specific dac nokia 8 has?

I think it has the standard snapdragon, I personally like the sound outcome with my kz zs6 but definitely need the amp for the kz zs10 as the sound is not as good without it

Looks like Meizu is dying, Pro 5 / 6+ Was probably their last iteration of high end embedded audio.
