If you use decent android dap. Got no issue for it. 44kHz, 96kHz and 192kHz will pop out correctly

But Samsung phone needs to use with usb dongle. Not sure your rog phone will make it bypass mixer or not.

that is not confirmation that it bypass android mixer. It only shows what the input song spec it is.

Go to neutron > audio hardware and see frequency of it. if it show 48kHz. You need DAC to process it.

I use Asus Rog phone 5 for games, multi media, music and with huge battery is perfectly working for me. Apple music lossless and UAPP smooth as butter and so so fast. 3,5mm jack amazing output and dual stereo front firing speakers loud and clear.

If Asus ROG Phone 5 supports native DSD playback, I am all in for this phone. An owner here had verified it can playback DSD files (dsf, dff files), but nobody is able to confirm if it does so natively (hardware decoding by ES9280AC). If the phone does software decoding of DSD files (by music player app) and feeds converted PCM signals to the DAC, I am not much interested due to inherent loss in quality.

Other than that, I don't think it will be much of an improvement over LG's QuadDAC.

At first is new Android way faster phone with better procesor better screen bigger battery and fully supported USBAUDIO PLAYER PRO with MQA,DSD etc. LG phones is no more support and is dead brand.

How is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro?

I ordered the BTR5 but i still need a phone and this one caught my eyes since my carrier has a decent deal for it. Can't find any information on what kind of audio processor it's in it. I'm thinking of using it as a back up portable audio device. Spec sheet says it can at least do 24bit/192hz audio:

Coming from the LG V10 that battery size is making my eyes salivate.

Just got an LG G8X. It came with Android 9, should I upgrade it to Android 10 or stay on 9? Going to use it purely for listening to music.

I've been comparing my iPhone XS Max to the Xperia 1 ii in bluetooth audio quality, streaming to the PI7 tws earbuds.

The comparison has been over 3 weeks. And it is undoubtedly an easy win for the Xperia. More definition, oomph and volume. Its crazy just how noticeable it is going from one to the other side by side actually. Pretty bummed as I love iPhones but now have no choice but to solely drive the xperia...
