I want to wait until the end of this year to find out what new smartphones will come out, in hopes that there will be a worthy phone with a good DAC. I was hoping for lg g7 but LG crushed my hopes. I need to give my current phone to my brother soon, so I will need a phone until October. I am looking for a phone that has a great DAC, something similar to lg V20 but a bit cheaper. All I want is that it has NFC. I don't care about screen or any specs as it will be just until October and then a backup phone. All I want is that I can listen to good music on it and can pay with NFC. And my budget is £250. Any ideas anyone? Thank you for your help in advance

ZTE Axon 7 Mini. Very nice DAC, NFC too. Throw in a nice 5.2 OLED screen and other premium amenities, (which you don't care about,) and you get a real winner. You can even talk to people on it

In my opinion vocals are not as powerful on le max as i would like it to be. Rest is top notch though.

I think I will go for the zte axon 7 mini. I can find it for £85 second hand. I think it will last well for a few months and then as a second device when a worthy smartphone comes later this year.

Vocal: same level of smoothness. But xp6 have a little more forwarded mid.

Warmth: If pro5: 10, v20: 7.5, xp6: 8.5

Extension: xp6 has better extension both low and high ends.

Depth soundstage: same level

Width soundstage: xp6 is much wider. Feel better transparency.
