neither, they are both great but different.  personally i prefer the M1 and its lighter more airy balanced sound.  the M2 is thicker, warmer heavier sounding.  to choose between them its about what sound signature appeals to you more than one being "better" than the other

I also saw your Radiopaq Jazz review. Do you believe the M1 and M2 are superior?

off the top of my head, no.  id have to listen to them to be sure but the Jazz have no trouble what so ever keeping up with the best in its price range.  ive always though it most unfortunate they and the Classical's were named by idiots and not sold in the US, being unavailable in the US means on here they will be largely ignored.  |Joker| also reviewed the Jazz and Classical's and he too thought very highly of them.
 
there really is no "best" amongst those 4 its more whats best for you.  since you cont hear them all first all you can read the reviews and see what grabs your attention the most

I will probably go with the Brainwavz M2 since I live in the UK near several retailers of the Radiopaq's so might get a bargain on them someday. Thanks for all the advice, much appreciated.
