Too tired/lazy/new to start my own thread. I didn't get it for free, but I got 20% off the US$77.70 for the Sony MDR-EX310SL at the Sony Store in Singapore today, which makes it $62.15. I must say this could be the one!... after loving both the Creative Live Aurvana and the Sunrise Xcape Impressive Edition. The EX310 has got great soundstage, detail, comfort and tight bass. Now I know what the big deal is about those hybrid tips.

After that, I found myself in another electronics store that was closing down, tried very hard to resist, but eventually succumbed to getting the ATH-SQ5 for US$65. There's another piece left at the shop, a white one, with the cups slightly yellowed (with age or is that the way it's supposed to be?) if anyone else is interested. All the other shops here are asking for at least US$92 for the SQ5.

recently i bought Sony EX310lps and they sound good, but i hate J type cable and their bulky design.. otherwise they are fine.
Also i think they are not worth for the price, sony's cheaper models (EX50lp  $20)  are very close with them in sound quality, so why need to buy these. if anyone else has any good or bad experience with them, pls let me know. I want to know, if i'm the only one who hate them or not.

Thanks
