I honestly didn't know what I was expecting from the Crystal, but it still has that weird sticky/ crunchy sensation when putting it in your ear. I can't really comment about it in terms of sound (I'm not a fan of the feeling lol). But I do think the Crystal/ Xelastic line are still great if IEMs aren't staying in. What did surprise me is how much I enjoyed the Final Audio E type in Clear/Red. MAYBE placebo effect from reading the review that KopiOkaya wrote. But I do hear the subtle differences between them and the regular edition, especially in the treble which seems to be opened up and slightly forward on the clear version. But that's my initial impression so far.

the best for a bad fitting iems is Spinfit CP360,

Just received the Final E clear tips. They are superb. A TINY bit less bass boom but at the sake of more treble. No treble harshness/sibilance. Just louder so it's easier to hear. Results in a much more balanced sound profile, IMO. Would highly recommend everyone who loves the Final E blacks give the clears a try.

Oh also the material is softer so more comfortable in the ear. Even so the difference in material doesn't affect the timber as far as I'm hearing.

TLDR: Avoid

(H470 is probably the TWS version while the H370 is the regular one.)

I very much enjoy the sound of the Crystal but they start to cause my ears to burn after about 30 minutes so they are a no-go for me. I'm wondering if the Latex is a softer, less sticky material that might work for me.

For now, I'm loving the Final Audio Type E in MS.

Yeah I stopped using the crystal for the same reason. For some reason they just get uncomfortable over time which is odd because the Xelastecs don't. At least for me. But, similarly, I also keep coming back to the Final E clears. They are a bit less comfortable but the timber is so good so I don't mind taking them out to give my ear canals a break every 90 minutes or so.

Whizzer have got a new range of tips on AliExpress ET100 comfort isolation?, SS20 soundstage wide bore, VC20 vocal narrow bore. Not a bad price either.

ePro horns have made me a wide bore convert. Might have to try out the SS20.

Wel broke down and spent $30.00 buck on the jvc spiral dots ++. Really liking them and feel that they might be my first choice now with the moondrop variations. Perfect seal and noticeable difference over the Jlad wireless tips and Epro tips. Totally amazed by how well the W2 spiral dots and the XINHS cable and XINHS c to c usb interconnection have improved the sound quality. It’s been a fun journey to get to this place and appreciate all the members that helped me reach it.
