What amp do you use? You never mentioned what amp you used. 
Most amps have a gain switch on one side of the amp, for high and low gain.

That's the point, I'm using the PSB M4U 2's built in amp, and it isn't supposed to be this low volume.

I remember there's a switch at the side of the headphone. You may need to turn up your source volume louder because the built in amp may be weaker than your source

My source is at max, the only switch I can find is the tri mode.
