I have some gift cards from xmas & want a good set of headphones for my computer.  I don't want to spend over $200-250.  Help me out please.

I'm about to buy some Beats headphones, but heard someone from this forum say they are junk for the money.

XB700! They sound like the beats, but clearer more detailed better bass extension, more bass, doesnt overwhelm as much, better at everything in general :)

If new members don't start using the search button, I'm just going to start recommending Beats to newbies like a virus.

This must be the 4th Beats topic today...

Save yourself the money and get some Sony XB500 or XB700's.

I think by "someone" you meant this entire forum.

Why wouldn't you? I find the Beats to be fantastic for most genres of music. I love them with acoustic and classical stuff. Best headphones unamped out of my iPod ever.
