Looking for the best over the ear headphone i can get for my price range. Starting from $150 - $300.

Listen to Rap, Techno, Rock, And mellow music. (Majority rap & dubstep/trance)

I want them to be durable. Least amount of flimsy parts.
Good comfort and GREAT highs, mids, lows.

The ones that are in consideration are Shure SRH 840s and Ultrasone HFI - 780

Hope i can get some recommendations or links to help me make a choice.  Also where to purchase online or a retail store would be nice.

Thanks,

P.S. eventually use these things for DJing

The old favourite of DJs is the Sennheiser HD-25-1-II which is pretty well regarded. Their new competitors are the classy beyerdynamic DT1350 which I've not had a chance to listen to yet but Jude marginally preferred in his comparison review on Head-Fi TV (see the front page).

Both have articulating ear cups (just one on the Senn, both of the beyer) which is handy for DJs, both isolate well and both are rugged.

Have a watch of Jude's review and see what you think.

OK I missed that. Can't see circumaural headphones being massively useful for DJing. You use up one hand holding them to your head one eared, or I guess you could clamp them to the side of your face but it might get a bit hot and look stupid.

I think the HD-215's articulate and they are circumaural but I have no idea if they are any good.
