Best gaming controller

The difference is the DualSense controller uses voice coil actuators instead of your typical motor with a 1/2 circle weight.

I wonder if there are mechanical button mods for Dual Sense. I like the quick springy feel of mechanical buttons, and they probably are more durable as well.

I hope aftermarket controllers starts to use voice coil actuators.

I played 2018 GoW, and boy is the rumble effects more annoying than immersive. Looking back now, the rumble wasn't anything special back in the days.

The new ones with voice coil makes a lot of sense as haptic feedback are correlated with sounds they give off. Like when I jump on a rope to slide down, I should feel the vibrations of tiny strings I'm going over like how it actually sounds. That's what PS5's haptic feedback does. Provides that kinda experience.

Got it's uses for an explosion or 2, but it was relentless in melee

I've noticed that GoW: Ragnarok with the PS5 rumble features, on PC, the rumble works just like in PS5. I notice the rumble is not annoying dildo rumbles types, but more finer, and nuanced, and not so intense most times, which makes it better.

However, I notice that I miss parry more often than on PS5. Is it possible that dual sense on PC has more lag? Anyway to reduce dual sense input lag on PC?

I need a decent controller for the PC so I'm looking at the GameSir Tarantula Pro as it ticks all the boxes. I just love the motorized face button changer, sure it's a little gimmicky but who cares. :D

I would still point you too the Vader 4 Pro. 6 programmable buttons, with a simple mechanism to set the stick tension to your liking.

Hall effect sticks, and the d-pad and ABXY buttons are all mechanical.

Thanks for pointing that stick out, unfortunately none of the FLYDIGI stuff is available on Canadian Amazon and GadgetHyper appears hit or miss with delivery times.

I have an Xbox One controller. Rumble is one of the reasons I play some single player games with a controller. Its really cool how emulators have a rumble function now. Wasn't a thing 20 years ago.

Twenty years ago they were still trying to figure out good uses for rumble functions. They were also way over doing the rumble function in games.

Most of the time, I don't really notice the rumble.

I turn rumble off.

For me it serves no real purpose. It doesn't make the game more imersive, drains more battery, and makes the controller heavier.
