Best gaming controller

Nice, didn't know you can DIY them to controllers. I'd like to do it all my Sony controllers since I luv their Dpads.

Where do you get them?
These came from Amazon ($11) or you can order them from the manufacturer for $1.50 each they sell them in 2, 10 and 50 qty. I just didn't want to wait a month or more for them to arrive.

I'm mobile now so I don't have the mfg link but there is a video on YouTube where a guy (Metal Plastic or something like that) tests them out and gives links.

Ugh. My dpad on 8bitdo bluetooth ultimate went out after a month after the warranty period. I'm so upset. I will not go with this company again.

I'm using my ps5 dual sense, but hate the slight stickiness of the buttons. Buttons should release immediately. Also, my right analog stick has tinge of drift, it's not centered. I hate that they still use resistive sensors.
False alarm. I tried the controller again and the d-pad is fine now. Maybe a software issue that caused it. I'm back luvin 8bitdo reliability!

On the other hand, Sony Dual Sense I hate you. Sony's analog stick is unreliable and the button sticking. Controller quality be sucking with Sony.

what's yall opinion on the the most precise/accurate controller ever? Don't say dual sense, since it's unreliable.

I want button press precision, analog accuracy/precision.

I like the current offerings from FlyDigi, the vader 3 and Apex 4 are both very good
Just got the Vadar 3 Pro. It feels good. I really like the button responsiveness, it has some sort of spring mechanism, and bounces back so fast! The shape feels nice like the X-box controller. The trigger vibration is really cool.

So far, I'm not sure about the d-pad. It feels too sensitive with a game I played. It has a short swing range for the d-pad, which doesn't feel very usual. Will see how it feels over time.

Much better bottom flap button placement than 8-bitdo. This one, you won't hit it accidently.

This thead is making me want to try a Vadar or Apex controller

Somehow Microsoft created the best hand held controller of all time with the xbox 360 controller: since its release its been a template.

I used an Xbox 360 controller on my PC for 10+ years........till the Dpad started to glitch out. I guess this is a common problem with the 360, the Xbone controller has a better Dpad I read.

Read this before taking the dive. https://www.reddit.com/r/Controller..._hall_effect_joysticks_have_motion_smoothing/

When I had the Vadar 3 pro, I noticed certain inputs didn't register in the game. I wonder if it's related to the what is said in the above link?

if 10+ years, that's a well made durable controller. My current x-box controller is the series X generation I believe, and it has not failed even yet, but dual shock 4 has. The issue I Have with the X-box controller is that the analog stick doesn't feel very precise. I prefer the responsive-ness of my 8bitdo ultimate.

I'm gonna comment on some weirdness I've experienced with 8bitdo ultimate. I had issues with the top Y button having some stickiness on random presses, and it went away after I stopped using it for awhile. It's weird to me since it was a mechanical issue. Only thing I can think of is that, perhaps the rubber material gets compressed with many presses, and when you stop using it for awhile, the rubber material reverts back to it's normal state.

I might return my Apex 4 for that, not sure if I like the triggers honestly
I have both and I favor the Vader 4 Pro.

The Vader 4 is lighter, easier to adjust the thumbstick tension, the 2 extra face buttons, and the mechanical switch on the triggers is just awesome.

If you do get the Vader 4 get the AC : Black Flag edition.

I've kept the Apex 4 mainly for racing games for its variable trigger tension.

I ended up returning the Apex 4, the triggers just felt weird at times for me.

I have the Vader 3 pro, do you think it’s worth getting the 4 pro? Is there a good amount of improvements?
