i really like the sound of an 03 cobra, screaming toward you with a loud ass supercharger, then blowing past you with a great american v8 rumble.

also, the intake noise on a type-r integra with an intake once it hits vtec

I've got a Prelude, and although it's an H22A vs. B18, they don't sound a whole different. So long as you have decent headers and a not-disgustingly-huge muffler, they sound downright angry after the second cam drops in. Although it's quite frustrating if you're sitting at, oh, 4000 RPM or so and waiting for it engage (oh god please please kick in c'mon he's winning please please...)

Of course, if you have a turbo it's pretty much negated, unless you're this guy. I will never understand why people put huge-ass turbos on tiny engines. Yeah, you've got 20 lbs of boost, but not until you're bouncing off the rev limiter.

That scene IS good. The moment when bad guy hits the pedal of that Charger sounds awesome. Poor tires though.

About tires, its always amusing to see those cars with their original tire sizes. 200hp-400hp on thin pizza-slicers.

mazda r26b is by far the coolest sounding motor, not the exhaust sound but the actual motor has that winding/cranking sound that's just awesome like a pneumatic drill used at auto garages.

aston martin v8 vantage sounds badass as well.

I'm still taken by the V8 (302) in my old Mercury Comet. Nothing sounds as good to me as that.

that's just a mustang motor, besides the 351 windsor is even better. better yet the 427
