Apropos to the season, the following discs are magnificent:

Tomas Luis de Victoria - Responsories for Tenebrae by David Hill and the Westminster Cathedral Choir
JS Bach - Easter Oratorio by Gustav Leonhardt and the Orchestra and Choir of the Age of Enlightenment

Much of the music listed here has been used in Films, so I guess it will be fine to list film scores.

Coming back to this thread after a while to share a great COVID-19 freebie: Bach's "Christ Lag in Todesbanden", BWV 4 performed live by the Monteverdi Choir & Orchestra

so sweet and moving, perfect for the moment.
There is a lot more in the Monteverdis youtube channel in excellent sound (and video) quality.
