Best cheap earphone to go

You won't get much support for the V-Modas and Skullcandys here, I imagine. Denon 351 > CX300...but price has to be factored in. I think Denon's are cheap on Amazon at the moment. Not too sure about the rest.

You wouldn't want to buy another set & stick them in the post to Australia, would you?

For those who voted the Marshmallows or Air Cushions, would you still buy them if the Senn CX300 has the same price? I just realized that Senn is offering a $15 off rebate.

I purchased me some JVC fx34's only a few days ago then read all the threads here about them, I made a great choice based purely on instinct. LOL They sound superb!!!

I've been thinking that too. I nearly got killed while wearing the Marshmallows.

How, what's the story?
They certainly cut off outside noise that's for sure!

OWNED: FX34's, Smokin buds, CX300's, V-Moda Freq.

IMO the HAFX34's are a no brainer, especially if you kramer mod them to clean up the bass and release the highs. In my rank order:

1.JVC HAFX34's (both non modded and modded)
2.CX300's (not that close to second place, far more innacurate than marshmallows)
3.V-Moda Freq's (Ugly, ugly phones in my opinion. in MY opinion. Yours may differ. :) )
4.Skullcandy Smokin' Buds (First IEMs i owned.... they just don't cut it compared to the similarly priced rivals. My sister owns a pair, and i listened to them again. It was like witnessing the death of my own family.)

Which kind of eartips can you use for the CX300 or Marshmallows? Did anybody tried the Ety's stock tips? How do you mod them?

having listened to most on the list i say the RP-HJE300 is a stand out performer.
